Ed Sklar - Marketing Director
Ed has extensive background and experience in marketing, sales, technology, and new product launches in real estate and software. Previously from Manhattan, Ed now resides in Fort Lauderdale and is an integral addition to the Hacienda Matapalo team. Additionally Ed has a Masters Degree in Management from Nova University and has been licensed as a Real Estate Broker and Salesman in New York and Florida.

Wayne Blackburn - Administrator
Wayne has been an active participant in South Florida real estate since the late 1980’s, when he began his career listing and selling residential properties. He is diligent in his record keeping and has a client base list in the thousands! Mention Wayne Blackburn? Everybody knows him!

David Matluck - Planning & Development
David began his real estate career over 35 years ago and has a wealth of knowledge drawn from his experiences in owning and managing his personal multiple properties. Seventeen years ago David joined Wayne Blackburn creating “The Income Property Team” to help investors buy, sell and manage income producing properties. Our Hacienda Matapalo project is right up his alley!

Brian Albury - Sales & Design
Brian began his real estate career in 1987 while handling sales and management for several well established investors in the Miami, Florida area. A licensed real estate salesperson, now broker, for more than 20 years and a licensed mortgage broker since 1995, Brian has great experience in the real estate and finance fields. Before making real estate his passion, Brian also studied architecture both in The States and abroad. Brian now works with clients and investors of Hacienda Matapalo and serves as lead liaison to our Architects and Engineers in Costa Rica.

Michael Starkey - Sales Director
Clients truly benefit from Mike’s wealth of experience in both real estate and investment banking. Mike has 21 years of experience in real estate dating back to his days as a State Licensed Real Estate Appraiser in New Jersey. He has a world of experience in dealing with all types of properties, from gutted foreclosures to class “A” residential and commercial investments. Additionally Mike has a degree in Banking and Finance and has worked at a major bank as an investment advisor for the bank’s high net worth clients. Mike has a wealth of knowledge regarding the structure and usage of retirement accounts and can teach you how to supercharge your IRA or other retirement plan returns with real estate investments.

Edwin Acosta - Costa Rican Operations
Edwin has been actively involved in the real estate market in Costa Rica during the past several years of explosive growth. Before becoming a partner in Investors Realty Costa Rica, he ran his own realty services company specializing in land acquisitions for some of the most prominent developers in several coastal areas of the Pacific Coast and beyond. He wears many hats for benefit of our project. We’re very fortunate to have this “home town boy” on our team. He has never met a stranger; only people he hasn’t met yet!
